As of last night, the City of Los Angeles had received a mere $17,000 in donations to help defer the cost of Michael Jackson's memorial service. (--Estimates put the city's cost at between $1.5 million and $4 million.)
--But that's not necessarily because Michael Jackson fans are stingy. Apparently, the site they set up to take donations was getting so many visitors that it kept crashing.
This is one of those stories that's so ridiculous it CAN'T be true . . . but so much fun it SHOULD be true.
--"Now" magazine claims that BRITNEY SPEARS' mental state is deteriorating.
--A so-called "source" says, quote, "Britney's speaking gibberish baby talk . . . She still hears voices and, at times, still has intense drink and drug cravings.
AND JUST SO YA KNOW…LADY GAGA IS OBSESSED WITH CLOTHING FOUND IN SEX SHOPS.. LOVEGAME ANYONE?
--"Life & Style" magazine says Michael Jackson's rented house had a "mini hospital" with an EKG, an automatic blood-pressure machine, a portable IV, and a mini ventilator. The only thing missing was a competent doctor.
